Spirituality

EPISODE 29: What Spiritual Entrepreneurs Should Consider When Doing Business

For most of the entrepreneurs in the spiritual community, the challenge is how to market their businesses without getting all “businessy”. It is as if, they have to stay only on ONE side of the line and to practice the conventional marketing strategies is being untrue to themselves.

Today’s episode is a recording from one of my live talks on bridging business and spirituality. And if you are among those who are confused and struggling with this mindset, this may help shed some light for you.

Key takeaways:

  • Physical marketing comes from a standpoint of what we normally know about marketing and its dimensions. Esoteric marketing is when aspects of spirituality serve as your vantage point when you grow your business.
  • Our world is expanding wherein businesses serve as reflections of man’s own evolution into becoming heart-centered individuals.
  • The businesses we create become our extensions and representations.
  • The problem with the spiritual community is they value spirituality more than the physicality. The physicality is just as sacred as the energetics and when you get that you’ll start honoring the physicality of actual marketing and positioning.

EPISODE 23: How to Create Transformation Within Yourself

This is a section from one of the esoteric talks that I’ve conducted. The main intention of this activity is to allow people to create transformation within themselves. Try to listen to this recording with openness in your minds and hearts. I hope that this will help to support you in manifesting freely; to find clarity and to heal yourselves of trauma, and to enable you in removing the blockages that keep you from living the full experience of what it is to be human.

Key takeaways:

  • Let’s stop being tourists in our own bodies. Get in tuned with our own bodies to find out what’s causing the trauma, challenges, or blockages that prevents us from being as close as we can to our true nature as human beings and truly get in the flow of actual life.
  • Your pain may not be even yours, to begin with.
  • The more we talk, the less we say. Know your relationship to silence and its impact in giving out and receiving messages to others and to yourself.
  • Let go of expectations.
  • Life is one big smeared out NOW. The Western world keeps pushing us to look towards the future when everything we need is with us right here, right now.
  • If you can, live in a place that you love and is conducive to your true nature.
  • Oftentimes when it doesn’t feel right, it’s usually a distraction.

Jeffrey Slayter’s partner and enlightened entrepreneur Niamh Cronin joins the Jeffrey Slayter Show, along with special guest Jeffrey Wium of the Wisdomkeepers Project and producer of the film Wisdomkeepers, Paqo Andino. After two decades in media production, Wium made an abrupt change in his life, leaving his filmmaking career behind when he was drawn to the Andes to study. In 2006, he founded the Wisdomkeepers Project, and began in earnest to bring some of the wisdom of the ancients to the Western world. He does this through programs, talks, retreats, coaching, and mentoring services.

Key takeaways:

  • The hardest thing about enlightenment is learning to get out of your own way.
  • See Wium’s film, Wisdomkeepers, Paqo Andino.

EPISODE 20: What Does It Truly Mean To “Live Your Life”?

Recorded from one of my live talks..What does it truly mean to “live your life?” Life is crazy and it’s complicated. We are inherently free sovereign beings yet we often choose to restrict ourselves with limitations imposed to us by others and largely, by our fears.

In this recorded episode, I share with you some of my thoughts on life’s enigma. I hope that they’ll support you in living a life that is inspired and aligned with your dreams.

Key takeaways:

  • True transformation happens almost at the edge of absolute terror and at the edge of absolute bliss
  • Nothingness is the most powerful state to be in. There’s NO thing in nothing, and that makes you EVERYTHING
  • Once you let go of your fear of losing control, life will never be the same.
  • Seek out butterfly moments in my life and revel in life’s mystery for life happens when we’re at the edge of the mystery.
  • True bliss concludes terror at the same time because we going to the singularity.
  • We are programmed to live in fear, yet a way to deal with it is to embrace fear itself.
  • Presence is a multi-dimensional experience. It’s not just being present in this density of reality but to also feel the future version of ourselves that exists and being present to that feeling.
  • Achievement is not what it’s all cracked up to be. We’ve been fed lies about the history of who we are as human beings including how we define success. It’s all lie so go challenge it.
  • We’re a part of the cult called Mainstream culture and it doesn’t have our best interest in mind. The more we can strip it away, the better our life gets. Strip away our cultural programming and go back to the original premise of who we actually are.

EPISODE 18: She Quit Ayahuasca Shamanism After 11 Years and 1K Ceremonies and Why High Performing Entrepreneurs Should Care

Tina “Kat” Courtney caught my attention with her blog post titled Why I Quit Ayahuasca Shamanism After 11 Years and 1,000 Ceremonies.

Kat spent a decade at Disney launching the online subscription product Disney Blast. Next, she cofounded a successful video game studio and worked with many startups to help them make their digital mark. This may have been her work in the world, but in the background, she had always been into transformational work. For the next ten years, she dedicated herself to that work, and dove deep into shamanic apprenticing. She works with ayahuasca as a coach, helping people navigate through the integration processes. She also works with people confronting other issues, such as death and the shadow itself.

Key takeaways:

  • After the ceremony comes the homework.
  • Revelations are only useful when we live them.
  • To sit with ayahuasca is to give up your power to something bigger.
  • The world needs successful entrepreneurs filled with light.
  • Today’s enlightened entrepreneurs are tomorrow’s bridge-walkers.

EPISODE 17: How To Go Way Past “SELF HELP” and Increase Self Awareness & Its Direct Application to High Performing Entrepreneurs

Listen in on this hard hitting talk Jeffrey did in a live audience recently 🙂 How do we go past “Self Help”. The tools we have like Books, meditations, and seminars can be supportive, but to a limit. Speaking from my perspective now, the most growth I’ve ever achieved as a human being happened through my application of ancient wisdom in modern times. And as someone who does transformational work and been in it 18 years, I find that people’s misconception of ancient wisdom is an injustice to their powerful, healing, and transformational properties. In today’s episode, allow me to share what is true for me. With the hope that you’ll find something useful from my experiences to support you.

Key takeaways:

  • Find your own medicine within.
  • The number one modality of coaching and transformation is Love.
  • We don’t need fixing.
  • We are interdimensional beings having a human experience..
  • Magic happens when you let go of the usual transformational formula and when you break away from the limitations of modalities.
  • The “why” is a distraction to real transformation.
  • Business is a transformation in itself.
  • Do plant medicine for your own soul’s journey.
  • We are part of a cult called Mainstream.
  • The bottomline is – what matters is the way we serve Mother Earth.
  • If the Amazon dies, we die.
