EPISODE 25: How Self Awareness and Transformation Apply to High Performing Entrepreneurs

Today’s episode is recorded from my home in Byron Bay with an intimate and incredible group of people throwing questions in the room about business, transformation, self-awareness, and how it all applies to high performing entrepreneurs. Listen in to hear a different perspective – from how to approach key influencers to building a tribe of raving fans, and more.

Key Takeaways:

  • A song is not a song unless there’s a space between the notes. And I feel that life is the same way. Otherwise, if we’re just busy, then our life is just noise and we’re not actually enjoying listening to our own song.
  • The new type of manifesting is not about making anything happen. It’s about receiving the ones due for you.
  • Everything you want is already done your job is to receive it and see it.
  • When approaching Key Influencers, keep in mind that they get approached all the time. Instead of asking for what they can do for you, try the other way around. Ask them what they need next in their business and try to support that if you can. This mindset and action might consequently be better in terms of getting a response or a business opportunity.
  • Collaboration is a necessary component for us to actually go back to ourselves as true Human Beings. We are done with the age of working separately from each other. We need to stop looking at what separates us and look at what unifies us and what unifies us is that we all live on this Earth as humans. We all want love and the collaboration allows that.
  • The thing is most of humanity has business and spirituality as separate categories when they are exactly the same. Your business is just as spiritual as your meditation practice. Your business is just a spiritual as your walks on the beach. So, when you realize that there’s no separation between the two of them your business becomes an opportunity for you to grow.

EPISODE 24: 8 Questions to Help Bring More Meaning to Your Life

This is a different type of podcast. Rather than providing you with information, which can actually be a distraction from seeking the information within yourself, I’ll be asking you series of questions to rekindle that spark within you.

I just got back from an incredible 2 ½ weeks in the Andes Mountains and I got the privilege of spending time with some medicine men and women with over 40 years of experience in the sacred ancient art of healing. There is so much wisdom  to receive from them as well as to discover even more from within myself. Hopefully, in this episode, I can provide support in reconnecting you with the wisdom that you already have within.

Key Takeaways

  • When you are honest with you not trusting yourself at times is when you are most being honest with yourself.
  • Achievement stemming from insecurity rarely feels truly rewarding.
  • Say I love you more often.
  • Our connection to the world and everyone around us can say more about us than all of our accomplishments.
  • What we think our real purpose is for existing is most likely what we don’t expect.
  • Laughing is a beautiful medicine.
  • There’s a very long road from the head to heart. Once we sit in the heart and we make our choices from the heart we actually stop making life happen and life happens to us.

EPISODE 23: How to Create Transformation Within Yourself

This is a section from one of the esoteric talks that I’ve conducted. The main intention of this activity is to allow people to create transformation within themselves. Try to listen to this recording with openness in your minds and hearts. I hope that this will help to support you in manifesting freely; to find clarity and to heal yourselves of trauma, and to enable you in removing the blockages that keep you from living the full experience of what it is to be human.

Key takeaways:

  • Let’s stop being tourists in our own bodies. Get in tuned with our own bodies to find out what’s causing the trauma, challenges, or blockages that prevents us from being as close as we can to our true nature as human beings and truly get in the flow of actual life.
  • Your pain may not be even yours, to begin with.
  • The more we talk, the less we say. Know your relationship to silence and its impact in giving out and receiving messages to others and to yourself.
  • Let go of expectations.
  • Life is one big smeared out NOW. The Western world keeps pushing us to look towards the future when everything we need is with us right here, right now.
  • If you can, live in a place that you love and is conducive to your true nature.
  • Oftentimes when it doesn’t feel right, it’s usually a distraction.

EPISODE 22: How Sacred Healing Plant Medicines Could Support High Performing Entrepreneurs in Their Truths?

This is a mashup of my recorded live talks where I speak of my travels to the Amazon jungles and the transformational impact of the sacred healing plant medicines plus a bit more.

I know of businesses which have positively benefited from leaders undergoing this transformational experience and in this episode I talk about THAT change that happens in the leadership role. I also get to clarify what MY real role is in people’s transformation throughout their jungle experience as well as the different elements that I feel, are disrupting our real connection to our human nature and to Mother Earth.

Key takeaways:

  • Our wanting distracts us from what we actually need.
  • Part of being human is to enjoy life’s mystery and to listen to its true message for you.
  • Stop being busy knowing everything and start listening.
  • People often get in a way of someone else’s transformation by being so helpful. Sometimes taking a backseat allows for more of the real connection and change to unfold.
  • Instead of providing answers, I answer questions with questions. Often then is when people discover their own clarity within themselves that no one can take away.
  • We are programmed to fear not knowing everything because we fear the chaos that may result with it. Not realizing that Nature is chaos, and chaos is part of the natural order of humanity. We have lost our humanity so when we get back to our humanity it’s part of being human to enjoy the mystery, and to not know what’s going to have to happen next, and to listen.
  • As Tesla says, we’re transmitters and receivers. As electromagnetic beings we are connected to nature around us. When we are too busy knowing everything, what seems to happen is we stop listening. We’ve forgotten how to listen and we need to remember how to listen.

EPISODE 21: The Wisdom of The Ancient Comes West

Jeffrey Slayter’s partner and enlightened entrepreneur Niamh Cronin joins the Jeffrey Slayter Show, along with special guest Jeffrey Wium of the Wisdomkeepers Project and producer of the film Wisdomkeepers, Paqo Andino. After two decades in media production, Wium made an abrupt change in his life, leaving his filmmaking career behind when he was drawn to the Andes to study. In 2006, he founded the Wisdomkeepers Project, and began in earnest to bring some of the wisdom of the ancients to the Western world. He does this through programs, talks, retreats, coaching, and mentoring services.

Key takeaways:

  • The hardest thing about enlightenment is learning to get out of your own way.
  • See Wium’s film, Wisdomkeepers, Paqo Andino.
  • Instead of just looking out for ourselves, we need to look out for everyone.
  • Together, the heart and mind can be a power-house to create a better world.

EPISODE 20: What Does It Truly Mean To “Live Your Life”?

Recorded from one of my live talks..What does it truly mean to “live your life?” Life is crazy and it’s complicated. We are inherently free sovereign beings yet we often choose to restrict ourselves with limitations imposed to us by others and largely, by our fears.

In this recorded episode, I share with you some of my thoughts on life’s enigma. I hope that they’ll support you in living a life that is inspired and aligned with your dreams.

Key takeaways:

  • True transformation happens almost at the edge of absolute terror and at the edge of absolute bliss
  • Nothingness is the most powerful state to be in. There’s NO thing in nothing, and that makes you EVERYTHING
  • Once you let go of your fear of losing control, life will never be the same.
  • Seek out butterfly moments in my life and revel in life’s mystery for life happens when we’re at the edge of the mystery.
  • True bliss concludes terror at the same time because we going to the singularity.
  • We are programmed to live in fear, yet a way to deal with it is to embrace fear itself.
  • Presence is a multi-dimensional experience. It’s not just being present in this density of reality but to also feel the future version of ourselves that exists and being present to that feeling.
  • Achievement is not what it’s all cracked up to be. We’ve been fed lies about the history of who we are as human beings including how we define success. It’s all lie so go challenge it.
  • We’re a part of the cult called Mainstream culture and it doesn’t have our best interest in mind. The more we can strip it away, the better our life gets. Strip away our cultural programming and go back to the original premise of who we actually are.

EPISODE 18: She Quit Ayahuasca Shamanism After 11 Years and 1K Ceremonies and Why High Performing Entrepreneurs Should Care

Tina “Kat” Courtney caught my attention with her blog post titled Why I Quit Ayahuasca Shamanism After 11 Years and 1,000 Ceremonies.

Kat spent a decade at Disney launching the online subscription product Disney Blast. Next, she cofounded a successful video game studio and worked with many startups to help them make their digital mark. This may have been her work in the world, but in the background, she had always been into transformational work. For the next ten years, she dedicated herself to that work, and dove deep into shamanic apprenticing. She works with ayahuasca as a coach, helping people navigate through the integration processes. She also works with people confronting other issues, such as death and the shadow itself.

Key takeaways:

  • After the ceremony comes the homework.
  • Revelations are only useful when we live them.
  • To sit with ayahuasca is to give up your power to something bigger.
  • The world needs successful entrepreneurs filled with light.
  • Today’s enlightened entrepreneurs are tomorrow’s bridge-walkers.

EPISODE 17: How To Go Way Past “SELF HELP” and Increase Self Awareness & Its Direct Application to High Performing Entrepreneurs

Listen in on this hard hitting talk Jeffrey did in a live audience recently 🙂 How do we go past “Self Help”. The tools we have like Books, meditations, and seminars can be supportive, but to a limit. Speaking from my perspective now, the most growth I’ve ever achieved as a human being happened through my application of ancient wisdom in modern times. And as someone who does transformational work and been in it 18 years, I find that people’s misconception of ancient wisdom is an injustice to their powerful, healing, and transformational properties. In today’s episode, allow me to share what is true for me. With the hope that you’ll find something useful from my experiences to support you.

Key takeaways:

  • Find your own medicine within.
  • The number one modality of coaching and transformation is Love.
  • We don’t need fixing.
  • We are interdimensional beings having a human experience..
  • Magic happens when you let go of the usual transformational formula and when you break away from the limitations of modalities.
  • The “why” is a distraction to real transformation.
  • Business is a transformation in itself.
  • Do plant medicine for your own soul’s journey.
  • We are part of a cult called Mainstream.
  • The bottomline is – what matters is the way we serve Mother Earth.
  • If the Amazon dies, we die.
